Andy Hay, CAS – supervising sound editor/designer, re-recording mixer

Andy began his career in sound for film through a chance meeting in 2004 with an AmericanFilmInstitute student in search of sound for her thesis film.  An organic shift from the record business where for 10 years he recorded, mixed and/or produced a myriad of bands and artists – many independently released, and major label releases for MCA, Warner Bros. and Sony/Columbia. Andy has gone on to mix, sound design and/or supervise over 80 films.  He continues to mix music score for features, and the occasional album.

 

Joe Paganelli – music supervisor

Joe comes with over 17 years experience in the entertainment industry.  He spent 12 years in San Francisco promoting and producing concerts for Bil Graham Presents, including 8 years of managing the legendary Fillmore.  2006 saw Joe relocate to Los Angeles where he apprenticed under established music supervisor Kevin Edelman, working on “Criminal Minds” and “My Name Is Earl”.  In 2007 he moved over to Sony Pictures TV Music Creative Group.  While at Sony, he developed a pre-cleared collection of independent music with 60 North American independent boutique labels and publishers, perhaps one of the only collections of it’s kind in Los Angeles.  Joe currently runs Shovelhead Media – music supervision and Topspin digital marketing consulting.  Click here to visit Joe’s site
